Comparison of NK cell transcriptomes between C57BL6 and NOD mouse strains

GSE342137 Mus musculus Expression profiling by high throughput sequencing 8 samples Submitted 2026/08/07 Platform GPL21103
Summary
Natural Killer (NK) cells are essential for surveillance of stressed, infected and malignant cells in the body. The autoimmune diabetes prone nonobese diabetic (NOD) mouse has a deficiency and dysfunction of NK cells compared to other strains but the molecular basis remains unclear. Here we performed bulk mRNA-seq on bead enriched splenic NK cells from early disease prediabetic 8 week-old female NOD mice as compared with age-matched C57BL6 female mice as controls.
